Once a year, we purchase and distribute hardcopy dictionaries to elementary school students. |
|
Each month we patrol Kailua Beach to pick up trash. We have volunteered to assist the Genki Ala Wai Project. We volunteer to help care for our native forest at Hamakua Marsh State Wildlife Sanctuary. |
|
We Elks invented Flag Day and we celebrate it each year on 14 June. We visit local veterans and help them transition back to civilian life and cope with disabilities. |

Organize potluck dinners at our lodge. |

Every November, we invite kids to compete in The Elks National Hoop Shoot. We need volunteers to manage the competition. |
|
We help Oahu high schools start public speaking clubs. We teach the kids how to teach each other to become more effective communicators. Our first Gavel Club is at Kailua High School. The students named their club "Leo o mana" which is Hawaiian for "Voice of Power". |

We organize 6-man outrigger canoe activities for the military families stationed at the US Marine base in Kaneohe. |
|
Make suggestions and volunteer to help us move and build out our new lodge. |
